Positive Participation of Women in the Economy
I recently wrote the background to the ESBC on the site http://www.esbc.org.uk/esbc-background giving compelling economic evidence on why a gendered focus is necessary in 2010. Doing nothing about the opportunity costs is not an option when there is £6 billion (GVA) to be capitalised on in encouraging a like for like to America to increase in female participation in entrepreneurship.
Wow - the excitement of organising a SUPERSIZED event
How mad is the project the ESBC is taking on.... organising the world's biggest ever pub quiz! We are hoping to have 600 people turn up which is an ambitious number but one that we think is certainly achievable.
