ESBC's privacy policy is driven by the following principles:

1. We will never share your information with anyone else without your express consent.
2. You can view and modify your personal information at any time
3. We do not store information on your computer (see Use of Cookies, below)
4. We take all measures within our power to safeguard the security of your personal information

ESBC collects and manages two different types of information.

Membership Details

This information forms the basis of the club's raison d'etre and enables the membership to contact and network with other members. The information is divided into three groups.

• Personal Information
• Contact Information
• Business Profile Information

When you join the Club, you decide which information, if any, you want to be available to other members. You can also modify this at any time after joining.

Event Bookings

ESBC organises various events. The website facilitates online booking of these events by credit/debit card. We store the following information regarding your booking activity.

Events booked, and contact information used, if different from your registered details. This is kept for historical and administrative reasons, and is available for you to view your event booking history. Credit card details are stored only until the transaction is verified, then they are permanently removed from the system. While they are stored they are in strongly encrypted format, minimising any chance of disclosure

Use of cookies

Cookies are small pieces of information that are normally used to track a users session. We only use temporary so-called "session cookies" to track your session. These disappear when you close your browser, and are never stored on your hard disk. They do not contain any personal information or anything that can identify you as an individual. You can disable these if you wish, but you will not be able to join, or logon to the members section of the website.

Your Email Address

Your current email address is used as your logon id. ESBC Administration will also use this to contact you, but only if you agree. However we will only use this to contact you about ESBC events and other member related activities
